Jaime Hayon Cosmos

Top Spanish designer Jaime Hayon is presenting his first Hong Kong solo exhibition from September 21 through October 17th at Harbour City. "The Cosmos of Jaime Hayon" is in two parts- 'Archisculptures' and 'Hayon Cosmos Selection'.

The Ocean Terminal Forecourt is transformed into a huge playground in 'Archisculptures' with fantastical animals, colorful patterns and shapes, and some general weirdness. Visitors will find many playful touches like slides, see-saws, periscopes and odd characters.

In 'Hayon Cosmos Selection' the artist presents Italian hand-made sculptures realized for him by ceramicist Italo Bosa and wood-craftsmen Remigio Scarpin from Italy and Josep Jofre from Spain. These are collectable pieces.

The Hayon Collection by Wittmann is a series of lounge chairs and tables referencing Austrian design with a modern twist. He has also created furniture for Fritz Hansen, and Cassina.
